Task Force for the preparation of WSSD in Asia and the Pacific

Food and Agricultural Organization's (FAO) contribution to
WSSD
FAO
is actively involved in contributing to the World Summit for
Sustainable Development process. Under preparation, its report
assesses the progress achieved, including gaps and deficiencies.
This covers agriculture, land and rural development, deforestation,
and mountains. The analytical part of the report will analyze
the impact of policies, including strategic approach, institutional
arrangements and involvement of major groups.

Stakeholder
Forum is an international multi-stakeholder organisation.
It is a network and forum on sustainable development which
has promoted outcomes from the first Earth Summit in 1992
and is now working on preparations for Earth Summit 2002.
